NÄAK Ultra Energy Drink Mix
- 55 grams of carbohydrates
- 8 gr wholesome proteins (vegan)
- 650mg Electrolytes
- 1,300 mg BCAAs
This drink mix was designed for athletes who want to perform at their best over really long distances, e.g. ultramarathons or long-distance triathlons. It primarily differs from other sports drinks through the addition of protein (peas & soy), which is said to protect against muscle damage and increase endurance.
Carbohydrates are still the main source of energy in this drink. Here, Näak relies on a combination of simple and complex carbohydrates in the form of dextrose, maltodextrin and gluten-free oatmeal. This is intended to achieve a constant supply of energy and a high level of tolerability.
The consistency is a bit cloudier than other classic energy drinks. You can't go wrong with either flavor, especially since they are not overly sweet, which can often lead to "flavor fatigue" over long distances.
Directions : Mix two scoops (72 gr) with 500 ml of water. One bag contains 720 g powdered drink, which corresponds to approx. 10 servings.
