8.1 Insofar as necessary for the fulfillment of the contract for delivery and payment purposes, the personal data collected by us is passed on to the commissioned transport company and the commissioned credit institution in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point b GDPR.

Insofar as we owe you updates for goods with digital elements or for digital products on the basis of a corresponding contract, we process the contact data you provided when placing the order in order to inform you personally within the scope of our statutory information obligations in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point c GDPR. - DHL

We pass on your e-mail address and/or telephone number to the provider in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point a GDPR before delivery of the goods for the purpose of arranging a delivery date or announcing the delivery, provided that you have given your express consent to this during the ordering process. Otherwise, for the purpose of delivery in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point b GDPR, we only pass on the name of the recipient and the delivery address to the provider. The disclosure only takes place to the extent necessary for the delivery of the goods. In this case, prior arrangement of the delivery date with the provider or the delivery announcement is not possible.

Consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future vis-à-vis the controller named above or vis-à-vis the provider.

8.3 Use of payment service providers (payment services)

- Apple Pay

If you choose the payment method "Apple Pay" of Apple Distribution International (Apple), Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland, the payment is processed via the "Apple Pay" function of your device operated with iOS, watchOS or macOS by debiting a payment card stored in "Apple Pay". Apple Pay uses security features that are integrated into the hardware and software of your device to protect your transactions. To authorize a payment, you must therefore enter a code previously defined by you and verify it using the "Face ID" or "Touch ID" function of your device.

For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provide during the ordering process, together with the information about your order, is passed on to Apple in encrypted form. Apple then re-encrypts this data with a developer-specific key before the data is transmitted to the payment service provider of the payment card stored in Apple Pay in order to carry out the payment. The encryption ensures that only the website through which the purchase was made can access the payment data. After the payment has been made, Apple sends your device account number and a transaction-specific, dynamic security code to the originating website to confirm the success of the payment.

Insofar as personal data is processed during the transmissions described, the processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point b GDPR.

Apple retains anonymized transaction data, including the approximate purchase amount, the approximate date and time, and whether the transaction was completed successfully. The anonymization completely excludes any personal reference. Apple uses the anonymized data to improve "Apple Pay" and other Apple products and services.

When you use Apple Pay on the iPhone or Apple Watch to complete a purchase that you made via Safari on the Mac, the Mac and the authorization device communicate via an encrypted channel on the Apple servers. Apple does not process or store any of this information in a format that can be used to identify you. You can disable the ability to use Apple Pay on your Mac in the settings of your iPhone. Go to "Wallet & Apple Pay" and disable "Allow Payments on Mac".

Further information on data protection with Apple Pay can be found at the following internet address: https://support.apple.com/de-de/HT203027
- Google Pay

If you choose the payment method "Google Pay" of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"), the payment is processed via the "Google Pay" application of your mobile device operated with at least Android 4.4 ("KitKat") and equipped with an NFC function by debiting a payment card stored in Google Pay or a payment system verified there (e.g. PayPal). To authorize a payment via Google Pay of more than €25, you must first unlock your mobile device using the respective verification measure set up (such as facial recognition, password, fingerprint or pattern).

For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provide during the ordering process, together with the information about your order, is passed on to Google. Google then transmits your payment information stored in Google Pay in the form of a one-time transaction number to the originating website, with which a completed payment is verified. This transaction number does not contain any information about the real payment data of your payment methods stored in Google Pay, but is created and transmitted as a one-time valid numeric token. In all transactions via Google Pay, Google acts merely as an intermediary for processing the payment. The transaction is carried out exclusively in the relationship between the user and the originating website by debiting the payment method stored in Google Pay.

Insofar as personal data is processed during the transmissions described, the processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point b GDPR.

Google reserves the right to collect, store and analyze certain transaction-specific information for each transaction made via Google Pay. This includes the date, time and amount of the transaction, merchant location and description, a description provided by the merchant of the goods or services purchased, photos that you have attached to the transaction, the name and e-mail address of the seller and buyer or the sender and recipient, the payment method used, your description of the reason for the transaction, and, where applicable, the offer associated with the transaction.

According to Google, this processing is carried out exclusively in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point f GDPR on the basis of the legitimate interest in proper invoicing, the verification of transaction data and the optimization and maintenance of the functionality of the Google Pay service.

Google also reserves the right to merge the processed transaction data with further information collected and stored by Google when other Google services are used.

In this case, your data is passed on exclusively for the purpose of payment processing with the provider and only to the extent necessary for this.

In order to safeguard our legitimate interest in determining the solvency of our customers, this data is forwarded by us to the provider in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point f GDPR for the purpose of a credit check. On the basis of the personal data you provide and further data (such as shopping cart, invoice amount, order history, payment experiences), the provider checks whether the payment option you have selected can be granted with regard to payment and/or default risks.

In order to make a decision within the scope of the application review, in addition to the provider's internal criteria in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point f GDPR, identity and creditworthiness information from the following credit agencies may also be included:

https://cdn.klarna.com/1.0/shared/content/legal/terms/0/de_de/credit_rating_agencies

The credit report may contain probability values (so-called score values). Insofar as score values are included in the result of the credit report, they are based on a scientifically recognized mathematical-statistical procedure. Address data, among other things but not exclusively, is included in the calculation of the score values.

You can object to this processing of your data at any time by sending a message to us or to the provider. However, the provider may still be entitled to process your personal data insofar as this is necessary for the contractual processing of payments.
- PayPal

In order to safeguard our legitimate interest in determining your solvency in such cases, this data is forwarded by us to the provider in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point f GDPR for the purpose of a credit check. On the basis of the personal data you provide and further data (such as shopping cart, invoice amount, order history, payment experiences), the provider checks whether the payment option you have selected can be granted with regard to payment and/or default risks.

The credit report may contain probability values (so-called score values). Address data, among other things but not exclusively, is included in the calculation of the score values.

You can object to this processing of your data at any time by sending a message to us or to the provider. However, the provider may still be entitled to process your personal data insofar as this is necessary for the contractual processing of payments.

9) Online marketing

AWIN Performance Advertising Network Affiliate

We participate in the affiliate program of the following provider: AWIN AG, Eichhornstraße 3, 10785 Berlin, Germany

In this context, we have placed links on our website that lead to offers on websites of the provider or third parties ("partner sites").

To measure the success of an affiliate link, to evaluate orders generated via such a link and to correspondingly settle commission payments, the provider uses cookies and/or comparable technologies, which are generally set on the partner sites and for which we are not responsible under data protection law in this respect. In doing so, the provider regularly also processes the IP address and, where applicable, further device information.

All processing described above, in particular the reading out or storing of information on the device you use, only takes place if you have given your express consent to this in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point a GDPR. You can revoke your consent once given at any time with effect for the future by using the cookie consent management options on the partner sites.

10) Web analysis services

10.1 Google Analytics 4

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analysis service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"), which enables an analysis of your use of our website.

By default, when you visit the website, cookies are set by Google Analytics 4, which are stored as small text modules on your device and collect certain information. The scope of this information also includes your IP address, which, however, is truncated by Google by the last digits in order to exclude direct personal identifiability.

The information is transmitted to Google's servers and further processed there. Transfers to Google LLC based in the USA are also possible in this context.

Google uses the collected information on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities for us and to provide us with further services associated with website and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics and truncated is not merged with other data from Google. The data collected as part of the use of Google Analytics 4 is stored for a period of two months and then deleted.

All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies on the device used, only takes place if you have given us your express consent to this in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point a GDPR.
Without your consent, Google Analytics 4 will not be used during your site visit. You can revoke your consent given at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your right of revocation, please deactivate this service via the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google that ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

Further legal information on Google Analytics 4 can be found at https://business.safety.google/intl/de/privacy/, https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de&gl=de and at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

Demographic characteristics
Google Analytics 4 uses the special function "demographic characteristics" and can use it to create statistics that make statements about the age, gender and interests of site visitors. This is done by analyzing advertising and information from third-party providers. This allows target groups for marketing activities to be identified. However, the data collected cannot be assigned to a specific person and is deleted after being stored for a period of two months.

Google Signals
As an extension to Google Analytics 4, Google Signals can be used on this website to generate cross-device reports. If you have activated personalized advertising and have linked your devices to your Google account, Google can, subject to your consent to the use of Google Analytics in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point a GDPR, analyze your usage behavior across devices and create database models, including on cross-device conversions. We do not receive any personal data from Google, only statistics. If you want to stop the cross-device analysis, you can deactivate the "personalized advertising" function in the settings of your Google account. To do so, follow the instructions on this page: https://support.google.com/My-Ad-Center-Help/answer/12155764?hl=de
Further information on Google Signals can be found at the following link: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/7532985?hl=de

UserIDs
As an extension to Google Analytics 4, the "UserIDs" function can be used on this website. If you have consented to the use of Google Analytics 4 in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point a GDPR, have set up an account on this website and log in to this account on different devices, your activities, including conversions, can be analyzed across devices.

Collection of data provided by users
In order to improve the analysis results for users whose contact data we have received within the scope of business or business-like relationships, we use the function of "collection of data provided by users".
Subject to your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point a GDPR, as part of this function we electronically transmit one or more files with customer data aggregated to your person (above all e-mail address and telephone number) to Google. Google does not receive access to plain data, but automatically encrypts the information in the customer files by means of a special algorithm during the transmission process. The encrypted information can then only be used by Google to assign it to existing Google accounts that the data subjects have set up.
The processing serves to refine measurement data, improves cross-device user traceability and enables the integration of analysis results into ad personalization and conversion tracking functions of Google Ads.
You can revoke your consent to us at any time with effect for the future. Further information on Google's data protection measures regarding the transmission of customer data can be found here: https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/6334160?hl=de&ref_topic=10550182

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

10.2 Shopify Analytics

This website uses the web analysis service of the following provider: Shopify International Limited, Victoria Buildings, 2nd Floor, 1-2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland

Data is also transferred to: Shopify Inc., 150 Elgin St, Ottawa, ON K2P 1L4, Canada

With the help of cookies and/or comparable technologies (tracking pixels, web beacons, algorithms for reading out device and browser information), the service collects and stores pseudonymized visitor data, including information of the device used such as the IP address and browser information, in order to analyze it for statistical analyses of usage behavior on our website and to create pseudonymized usage profiles. Among other things, this makes it possible to analyze movement patterns (so-called heatmaps), which show the duration of site visits as well as interactions with page content (e.g. text entries, scrolling, clicks and mouse-overs). The pseudonymization generally excludes direct personal identifiability. It is not merged with plain data about your person collected in another way.

All processing described above, in particular the reading out or storing of information on the device used, is only carried out if you have given us your express consent to this in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point a GDPR. You can revoke your consent given at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider that protects the data of our site visitors and prohibits disclosure to third parties.

In the case of a data transfer to Canada, an adequate level of data protection is guaranteed by an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

11) Retargeting/remarketing and conversion tracking

Meta Pixel with advanced matching

Within our online offering, we use the service "Meta Pixel" of the following provider in advanced matching mode: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Meta")

If a user clicks on an advertisement placed by us on Facebook or Instagram, the URL of our linked page is extended by a parameter with the help of "Meta Pixel". This URL parameter is then entered into the user's browser after the redirect by a cookie that our linked page itself sets. In addition, this cookie records specific customer data such as the e-mail address, which we collect on our website linked to the Facebook or Instagram ad during processes such as purchase completions, account logins or registrations (advanced matching). The cookie is then read out and enables the transmission of the data, including the specific customer data, to Meta.

We use "Meta Pixel" with advanced matching to make our advertisements (so-called "ads") on Facebook and/or Instagram more effective and to ensure that they correspond to the interests of the users or have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products determined on the basis of the websites visited), which we transmit to Meta (so-called "Custom Audiences").

In addition, we analyze the effectiveness of our advertisements by tracking whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on an advertisement (conversion). Compared to the standard variant of "Meta Pixel", the advanced matching function helps us to better measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns by recording more attributed conversions.

All transmitted data is stored and processed by Meta so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Meta can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with Meta's data use policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/). The data can enable Meta and its partners to place advertisements on and off Facebook.

All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading out information on the device used, is only carried out if you have given us your express consent to this in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point a GDPR. You can revoke your consent given at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider that ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

The information generated by Meta is generally transmitted to a Meta server and stored there; in this context, a transfer to servers of Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA may also take place.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

12) Site functionalities

12.1 Yotpo

On our website, graphic elements of the following provider are integrated for the display of external customer reviews and/or an externally awarded seal of quality: SMSBump Ltd., 51 Cherni vrah Blvd, Sofia, 1407, Bulgaria

When you access a page of our website that contains such graphic elements, your browser establishes a direct connection to the provider's servers in order to load the elements properly. In doing so, certain browser information, including your IP address, is transmitted to the provider.

Insofar as personal data is also processed in this context, this is done in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in the optimal marketing of our offer and the appealing design of our website.

12.2 Google Customer Reviews (formerly Google Certified Shops program)

We cooperate with Google as part of the "Google Customer Reviews" program. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"). This program gives us the opportunity to obtain customer reviews from users of our website. In doing so, you are asked on our website after using our services whether you would like to participate in an e-mail survey by Google.

If you give your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point a GDPR, we transmit your e-mail address to Google.
