In 2020, Franzi discovered triathlon for herself and by balancing the three sports, she also got her health problems back under control. She has been working as a professional again since 2021 and has a lot planned for the future. Franzi is also co-editor of the award-winning print magazine PODIUM.

She is now dedicated to the sport and is aiming for a professional career. Madlen is a versatile athlete who competes successfully in triathlon from the 1st Triathlon Bundesliga to middle distance races. She shows that you don't have to focus on one sport; no, in addition to triathlon, she also had some success in trail running/mountain running and skyrunning. Triathletes usually impress us because they manage to do three sports at the same time at a high level. Chris goes one better and practices Obstacle Course Racing (OCR) excessively. Over the last few years he has made a radical shift from “Making Money” to “Making a Life”. He recorded this journey in his book “Lacing Up: The first steps of my running journey”.
