The product was developed for use with the Maurten Gel Mix Flask 350 ml, but it can also be mixed in another soft flask or bike bottle.

When stored in a sealed container, the mixed Gel Mix 480 will keep for up to 72 hours in the refrigerator. We recommend using this product primarily during long-distance runs, when a large amount of carbohydrates needs to be efficiently delivered to the body.

How to use: Pour 200 ml of water into the 350 ml Maurten Gel Flask, add one packet of Gel Mix 480, screw the cap on, and shake well. Once prepared, the mix can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 72 hours. This means it can also be used for two shorter training sessions.

One package contains a net weight of 125 g; one box contains a net weight of 750 g. Store at room temperature between 10 and 30°C.

About Maurten

First things first: Maurten is pronounced like "Morten." The company is named after Mårten, a triathlete and family friend of founder and entrepreneur Olof Sköld. The spelling "Maurten" simply came about because morten.com was already taken.

Mårten had the idea that it should be possible, with new technology, to ensure a higher energy supply through sports nutrition. The project quickly attracted the interest of elite athletes and was first used in competition by Kenenisa Bekele during the Berlin Marathon in 2016. Bekele won the race and improved his personal best by two minutes. Since then, the list of elite athletes using Maurten has steadily grown, including world record holders and champions in nearly all endurance disciplines, particularly in running, cycling, and triathlon.
