About GU

Dr. Vaughan created the first GU Energy Gel over 25 years ago to support his daughter during ultra-marathons like the Western States and Hardrock 100. At the time, options were limited to drinks or typically dry energy bars. The result was a gooey gel that’s easy to carry and delivers quick energy.
