Returns
Sportswear & Equipment can be returned or exchanged within 30 days as long as the products have only been tried on but not used. As a hygiene item, underwear cannot be exchanged once the packaging has been opened. We ask that send the products to the following address:

ExoLactate® combines 40 g of carbohydrates from glucose and fructose (1:1) with 5 g of lactate. Several professional cycling teams and elite runners already use the gel. At the moment, we see it mainly as a product for elite and highly ambitious athletes. As with any new product, we recommend listening closely to your body and seeing how it works for you.

Directions: Use the ExoLactate® gel like any other energy gel. Depending on duration and intensity, take 1–3 gels per hour, either straight or diluted in 250–500 ml of water. Net weight: 68 g per gel, 408 g per box of 6 gels.

ABOUT FROM LAB TO FIELD

From Lab to Field was founded in the Basque Country in 2023 by three very different minds: sports scientist Dr. Aitor Viribay, chef Dani Lasa, longtime head of culinary research at Mugaritz, and biochemist Dr. Juan Carlos Arboleya of the Basque Culinary Center. The idea was to make lactate available in a form athletes can take even during competition. Developing the texture, pH and taste alone took more than three years.

Viribay has worked as a scientist for INEOS Grenadiers, as well as for Astana, Real Sociedad and Kilian Jornet. Today he heads performance for the Salomon trail running team. He is best known for his 2020 study, which showed that trail runners can tolerate up to 120 g of carbohydrates per hour.
